Environmentally Friendly Nukes?

It's not a nuke, it's a FAE bomb. (Fuel Air Explosive) Like the MOAB or Mother of All Bombs that the U.S. has.

It bursts in the air and spreads a mist of explosive that then ignites and makes a much bigger boom than the explosive alone could make.

i saw the original report (also in original language, i'm russian). it was said: "blast power as large as that of a nuclear bomb, but environmentally friendly compared to nuclear bombs" (read: it doesn't contaminate a city-large area for hundreds of years)
