Linus Torvalds is a troll.

so first.. yay for disros getting it wrong.

second, it's called "4.2"

third, i'll see your linus and raise you 50 million brazillian students.

or maybe 4 million desktop sales in the retail channel by Red Flag.

and so on.

enjoy your "victory through doing nothing useful" because as 4.2 is coming out you can kiss that plan goodbye.

you may wish to look up the history of CDE.

RichB: I guess? I honestly have no idea what you mean.

Aaron: I honestly don't give a hoot what desktop Linus runs (or even what desktop anyone runs), as it's obvious he's not really particular about what desktop he uses, nor does it really matter. Both desktops are Free Software. Both desktops have talented developers who are dedicated to improving them, etc.

My intention was more to make fun of the people who bashed GNOME a few years ago when Linus switched to KDE and took his switch to actually mean something.

It's just my sense of humor, which I guess doesn't come off that way unless you actually know me, but even so I'm extremely surprised you've taken offense at it, as there was no bashing of KDE at all.

Oh, and just so it's clear, I don't take Linus' switch to GNOME as a victory. I just find it amusing ;-)

RichB: aha, now I get it - you're referring to the misspelling of "related" :p

Morning coffee works like a charm ;-)

Fortunately those who set it up for them had some common sense and picked KDE 3.5.

Which latest retail release also uses KDE 3.5.

You have raised absolutely nothing, sir Seigo.
